The church is not a place, name, building, or program. It is people. God has called us to be connected to one another in community. At RHO, we don’t want anyone to be just another face in the crowd. We want this to become like family where we meet people and grow in our relationship with God. In many ways, Life Groups help get us there.
WHAT IS A LIFE GROUP?
Life Groups at RHO are another expression of the Church. It’s where people gather in neighborhoods across Orange, Tustin, and Santa Ana to study God’s Word, to worship, and to eat and pray together. We believe being the Church means belonging and participating in the life of the community. This can be difficult to achieve on a Sunday morning and Life Groups are an important way people get invested in church family.
Life Groups are the most committed form of involvement that we offer at RHO. Life groups are aimed to be places where we share life together as the body of Christ. If you have been involved with RHO and are looking for a deeper level of commitment then life groups might be good for you. Our groups are intentionally created to be diverse, consisting of members from all age groups and walks of life.
In addition to caring for one another, Life Groups also embrace the Biblical call to be Christ’s ambassadors by serving together within our own communities. It is in these smaller communities where significant growth and discipleship happen.
GETTING INTO A LIFE GROUP
If you want to join a RHO Life Group, all you need to do is visit the Resource Cart after service. We have Life Group leaders that can help answer all your questions and provide you with the form that begins the life group pairing process. Our goal is that in talking to you we can get the process started to get you into a group as soon as possible.
